Campden Hill Residents Association was set up in 1974. The main function of the Association is to promote and protect the interests of all the residents within the 'Campden Hill' area, by being both a debating forum for its members as well as a representative for their interests when dealing with the Council and other authorities and organisations on such matters.

The Campden Hill Residents' Association covers an area of around 50 streets from Notting Hill Gate to Kensington High Street and from Holland Park Avenue to Kensington Church Street.

Over the years CHRA has fought many battles on behalf of residents and supported many local activities.

In the past Campden Hill Resident's Association has sponsored litter bins, planted commemorative trees, opposed opportunist building projects, made grants available to pupils at Holland Park School, worked to support the Friends of Holland Park and continues to be actively involved in local policing, parking and traffic issues.

Currently, Campden Hill Resident's Association continues to battle for the Community Access of Holland Park School's new sports facilities that may help enrich the lives of those living in the area. We are also concerned about the Redevelopment of Notting Hill Gate and Newcombe House, basement developments and the implications it will have on the community.

As present time, our area is under great pressures from external sources to 'update and evolve!' We continue to fight to make sure that the people living within the area and their needs are being considered and heard!

CHRA publishes a regular Member's Newsletter containing updated and relevant information on topics regarding the surrounding area. We also hold an annual Summer Garden Party at Campden Hill Square Gardens. The children from Holland Park School are often involved and we like to cater it with fine music, food and drink. We also hold our Annual General Meeting in May.

New members are always welcomed! The membership subscription is £15 for one year or £60 for five years per household. A membership form can be found here .
